Meet Stella!

Last night at 10:30 we picked up Stella, all of us so excited we could hardly contain ourselves! And then we realized we were holding up our sign in the wrong terminal! We ran to the right one so we wouldn't miss her.

Luckily we didn't, and when we saw her we all ran to give her a hug. For only a few Skype calls, we felt so familiar with her. We immediately loved her.

She communicates well, she is confident and smart, and she is obviously independent and courageous. Today she settled in, we got a SIM card, gave her a little tour of the neighborhood and she is off tonight with Adele and Ceci at a Young Women's activity where she will meet several girls going to the high school she will begin on Monday.
