Ceci's 14th Birthday!

Ceci choose crepes with Nutella to kick off her day, and then she was off to school where her class went on a field trip to Thanksgiving Point, a career exploration day, where they did hands-on projects in teams. She loved it.

Geoff and I picked her up in the early afternoon, as the class was heading back to the school, and stopped at Nikki's new restaurant, Zulu Grill, for lunch. SOOO good!

We picked up Adele on the way home, and then Ceci was off on a treasure hunt. It is hard to come up with 14-year-old clues that are a challenge, but my attempt at riddles made her think. For some reason she was a little grumpy at the end of the hunt, so Geoff tried to lighten the mood.

She got a "trick" skateboard, as well as money and other nice gifts from family. We ended the day with chicken tacos (her choice) and a cake that wouldn't come out of the pan without complete destruction.

It was another good day celebrating a great teenager!
