As Geoff finished up a 5-year job in Salt Lake City, we decided to take advantage of some "in between" time and travel as a family. Geoff secured a few paid projects he could do from anywhere and we began to make plans. Initially, we wanted to spend a full year traveling, spending three months in four different places, but arrangements took longer than we thought, and complications arose. Things haven't worked quite as smoothly as we had hoped, but we're finally off. First stop, Paris.
Many people have asked to follow along on our adventures, so I will keep this blog as a way to document our family story and keep in touch with family and friends.
